The headphones are very comfortable, even for a person with big dreads like myself. The sound is decent, not amazing, but you can hear good highs and lows. One complaint is the volume could go a little louder. The cord is nice and long. The headphones seem pretty durable. I have had it for a month or so and it sits in the bottom of my backpack with good deal of abuse. It hasn’t shown wear or damage. I compared this with the 825′s at school, there is very little difference. I think the 825′s put out a little more volume and muffle outside noise a bit better, but they also fit a little bit tighter. The 825′s might be preferred by those with smaller heads. For the money they are both a good deal.

Very nice headhead phones and very underrated… they have a nice crisp sound handling highs and lows and also have the volume control …
Bottom line, its hard to beat this set of headphones for the money …

Very very flat sounding. Even messing with the EQ in Winamp for 5 minutes I can’t get them to sound “clean/clear”.
I’m promptly returning them, oh well.

OMG!!! The Sennheiser EH-150 came in today that were going to replace the Labetcs. The EH-150 totally OWN compared to these Labtecs!!!! Amazon, please remove the Labtec Elite 835 from your line up, they are very, very, very, very, sub-par!

It is an ok set. It does its job. Don’t expect it to block much exterior noise.

I just received mine in the mail and so far they are great… I use my headphones primarily for gaming and plug them in to my t.v. Its hard to find a good pair of headphones with an extra long cord with volume control but these are everything in one great package. The cups feel comfortable and aren’t irratating after long use like other over the ear headphones, and the sound remains crystal clear with no distortion at high volumes… all in all for what I need them for its a decent package at a bargain price..
