I just received mine in the mail and so far they are great... I use my headphones primarily for gaming and plug them in to my t.v. Its hard to find a good pair of headphones with an extra long cord with volume control but these are everything in one great package. The cups feel comfortable and aren't irratating after long use like other over the ear headphones, and the sound remains crystal clear with no distortion at high volumes... all in all for what I need them for its a decent package at a bargain price..

as a drummer moving into an apartment was the most depressing thing ive ever done until i bought an electric drum kit and this nifty lil piece
now i can rock out and not need worry bout neighbors or the wizife coming out and complaining

let alone each channel has its own perimiter to control so i can blast my phones way up while the rest of the band has there phones there way .
lets us equalize perfectly

and we really noticed the difference while recording how much control we had over the sound using this ...a must have for musicians

Portability--10/10
Lightweight and small, the iGTR comes with sturdy belt that stays in place.

Ease of Use--7.5/10
The sound controls--everything from overdrive to spaced out phaser effects are simple enough to access via three rotary interfaces. Unfortunately, the rotary controls feel chinsey. Using the volume controls for both the guitar and auxiliary inputs is also a sad story--the side mounted rotary dials are both outdated and of low quality.

Sound Quality--6/10
The problem with this unit is that many of the electronic components are of low quality, including the headphone jack and auxiliary receptor, the volume controls, and the preamp--all of which significantly effect the sound.

Overall--7.8
iGTR keeps the neighbors happy when you are inspired at 2 a.m. and has a multitude of sounds effects but don't be surprised by that first burst of volume through the headphones when using those rotary volume pots designed for AM radios in the 60's.

Even if you already have an amp or amps - you need this little monster - It drives my full stack no problem - has great tone and is very solidly built. Even through the internal 6 1/2" speaker this thing performs BIG TIME!!
At this price - run, dont walk and get yours now.

The Disney Hannah Montana Pocket Amp is an excellent first-step for the beginner electric guitar student.

Granted, the full volume of the device (through the headphones) is not really that loud, but the manufacturer probably shrewdly designed it that way to prevent hearing loss. Plug in a 3.5-RCA6MM cable into the 3.5mm(1/8") "phone" jack to convert the 3.5mm (1/8") mini stereo to dual RCA (male) plugs, to play the Hannah Montana Pocket Amp through the left and right Auxiliary inputs of your home stereo or portable stereo system. It'll be plenty loud enough.

I am actually using the Disney Hannah Montana Pocket Amp as a preamp for a dynamic microphone. This way, my battery powered outdoor stereo system (with wireless extension speakers) can be set up for everyone to play their iPods, etc. through the stereo system, at full volume, with the microphone / Pocket Amp combo always handy to use as a professional-sounding public address system.

Here are the specifications of the device:

* Standard guitar (or dynamic microphone) 1/4" monophonic input jack
* Standard 1/8"(3.5mm) stereo headphone output jack
* Special effects function switch for "Clean" and "Distortion" modes
* Tone control
* Headphone volume control
* Power switch with LED indicator (no automatic shut-off)
* Requires standard 9V battery (not included)
(shame on you, if not using a rechargeable 9V battery)
* Dimensions: 72mm(2-13/16")H x 82mm(3-3/16)W x 27mm(1-1/16")D
* Unit alone (with 9V battery) weighs 100grams(3-5/8 ounces)
* Nominal Input Level: -20dBu
* Input Impedance: 470Kohms
* Current Draw: 7.5mA (20mA in Distortion mode)
* Headphones have a heavy-duty(4mm diameter) single-entry 5-foot cord, with standard 3.5mm(1/8") stereo plug

Although I don't intend to use the supplied stereo headset with the device, I was impressed with the heavy-duty construction of the unit, as well as the surprising full volume and audio range coming out of those tiny speakers.

As far as the childish appearance of the headset and preamp:

I peeled off the headset decals and removed the star design of the preamp, with a belt sander. They now are more presentable, for my purposes, anyway.

This amp has tons of power, actually too much for most headphones, I think it was designed with the old 600ohm AKG 240 DF in mind.
With lower impedance phones it first seemed out of control. I had a 75ohm etymotic er4P to S adapter (basically 2 75ohm resistors, one on each channel) which made a huge difference.
I tried it with Sennheiser HD580 and it sounded pretty good (with the adapter). It is very clean amp, no distortion or coloration to the sound. Very neutral and no noise. And you got 4 in one package.
I compared it to other portable "audiophile" amps: pimeta and Meyer Move. It stacked up to them pretty well. It was not better than them but not too far behind either.

For studio applications where musicians need to listen to themselves play, or have a few people monitor a recording it is fantastic amp, it sounds great and it is not expensive.
For critical home listening, there are dedicated home amps that are better but they are more expensive and have only one headphone output.

In summary, I really enjoy the product. My only minor issue is the lack of an RF connector that's not specifically for FM radio. And the up-conversion for some older devices is VERY unreliable, forcing me to purchase a composite video cable.

Other than that, the RX-V563BL is definitely worth the price tag and is recommended if up-converting composite video devices isn't a necessity as it was for me.

I picked up two of these units for recording sessions, one for the engineer desk and one for the producer desk. The fact that each person has an independent volume control makes everyone happy. The first unit feeds the second one through the monitor output. These small units give good value for the money.
It's important to heed the mfr.'s instructions to start with the volume control down low and then turn it up slowly--with +4 dBm in, we set our volume to about 9 o'clock, and that's plenty!

I'm very impressed with the Bugera V5. I have been playing guitar for 17 years, and this to me is a very good sounding and versatile amp.
Honestly I'm amazed, I think they hit a bulls eye.

You get a warm and pretty clean tone with the gain turned down, and a strong dose of crunch with the gain cranked up. I don't think you could get a clean tone like this for under $500+ before this amp, it really is nice (just give the speaker a little time to break in). I've owned the Fender XD amps and the V5 has a much more natural sound to me, more volume too, and it has no hisss. The overdrive is really good on the 1/10th watt, nice sensitivity to pick attack too. All this with the volume at low levels.

The attenuator is a nice feature for sure. With 5 watts you get plenty of volume. You could hang with a drummer fine as long as what you are playing is not metal or hard rock, you'll need a bigger speaker for that type of music, or a PA. This amp does have a speaker out though, so you can hook it up to a cab (I've not done that yet).

Stock speaker and tubes are good, so that is plus. The reverb does a pretty fair job. You can get pretty surfy, or just use a taste. It sounds good though, not the best ever, but it is a good usable verb.

Great looking build too, it just looks cool. The cab has a nice size actually so you are not stuck with a boxy sound. I have no issues with the material that the cab is made of. There are a lot of audio speaker boxes made from the same stuff, and they can sound great.

I'm not sure they will be able to keep the prices this low on these actually. I'm thinking these are going to be a hit. And to think it sells for only $150..
That is amazing to me, you use to have to pay a lot of money for an amp like this.
Recommended.
The overdrive is really good on the 1/10th watt, nice sensitivity to pick attack too. All this with the volume at low levels.

The attenuator is a nice feature for sure. With 5 watts you get plenty of volume. You could hang with a drummer fine as long as what you are playing is not metal or hard rock, you’ll need a bigger speaker for that type of music, or a PA. This amp does have a speaker out though, so you can hook it up to a cab (I’ve not done that yet).

I’m not sure they will be able to keep the prices this low on these actually. I’m thinking these are going to be a hit. And to think it sells for only $150..

That is amazing to me, you use to have to pay a lot of money for an amp like this.
